All-purpose flour
Milk
Salt
Sugar
Baking powder
Grated mountain yam
Eggs
Bonito Flakes
About 2 pounds of shrimp
Black pepper
Bacon (easier to find, if you want more originality you need pork belly, cut into thin slices)

Make the sauce (you can buy it directly)

Add about 3 spoons of soy sauce to the pot, then add 2 spoons of tomato sauce, 1 spoon of oyster sauce (available in Chinese supermarkets), and 1-1.5 spoons of honey.

Mix flour and water in a 1:2 ratio, without any lumps. Finally, pour it into the pot and cook until it thickens (not too thick).

When it is ready, put it in a bowl and set aside.

Cut the prepared half cabbage into small pieces.
Note: don't cut them too small, just a little bigger than your thumb.

Then peel the shrimp, cut them into small pieces and put them in a bowl for later use.

Pour the flour and chopped cabbage into a large bowl;
beat 2 eggs, add half a spoon of salt and a small amount of sugar (less than half the salt).

Grind half of the yam into powder and add it to the bowl.

Cut the shrimp into small pieces and put them into the bowl.
Add milk in small amounts and stir until the mixture sticks to the chopsticks.

Finally, add some pepper.

Heat oil in a pan, and when the oil is hot, pour the batter into the pan.

Place bacon (streaky pork slices or minced pork) on the unfried side; when the other side is fried, turn the bacon (streaky pork) side over and fry.

After frying, place it on a plate, and finally pour the prepared sauce and Bonito Flakes on it.
